Wuthering Waves - Version 2.0

Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves is the latest free-to-play gacha title to arrive on consoles, available now for PS5. It includes cross-progression on the same servers, enabling PC, iOS, and Android players to continue their journey without skipping a beat. Alongside the game’s console launch is the arrival of Version 2.0, which adds a new nation, Rinascita.

There are also new Resonators, starting with Carlotta, a 5-star Glacio character who dual-wields pistols. Check out the latest trailer to see some of her skills in action. Her main mechanic is Substance, which involves building up Moldable Crystals and spending them to change her attacks. If her voice sounds familiar, it’s Jennifer English, who voiced Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Other new features in the update include new story quests, activities, numerous Echoes, and features like flying. The next limited 5-star, Roccia, is due in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for updates. For more details on Wuthering Waves, check out our review of the launch version.
