As mentioned, the game features up to four players with the ability to share resources. The game also includes new additions such as new eras from the 19th century to the 21st. Players can renovate older buildings with modern technologies.

Story

Tropico 5 offers the player a new level of control regarding their countries growth from it’s early years. Starting with the countries founding in the colonial era, the player will guide it through World War 2, the Cold War and even the present day. Playing as either the Axis or Allies (US & Soviet Union) the player decides the fate of the country and how you’re going to rule it.
