Pokemon GO Will Be Getting New Pokemon, Details Coming On December 12

Gotta frappe em all

Posted By | On 08th, Dec. 2016

It looks like the rumors and leaks were all true, and Niantic’s hit mobile AR MMO, Pokemon GO, will be getting a new batch of Pokemon after all. The official Pokemon Twitter account confirmed that new Pokemon are coming to Pokemon GO, and that more details will follow on Monday, December 12.

Meanwhile, Niantic have added an extra incentive to play Pokemon GO this week- they have partnered up with Starbucks, and 7,800 Starbucks locations are now either Pokemon gyms for players to contest and fight over, or Pokestops, for them to be able restock on items on. To get in on the fun, Starbucks are also releasing a special limited edition drink to coincide with the new Gyms/PokeStops called the Pokemon GO Frappuccino, which is a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino drink blended with raspberry syrup, freeze-dried whole blackberries, and whipped cream topping. Yes, I have no idea how this news piece became about a Starbucks frappe, either.

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android devices.
