With the arrival of Homelander to Mortal Kombat 1 last month, Kombat Pack 1 is almost officially in the books. Fortunately, there’s more content in the works, with the game’s official Twitter confirming a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 26th to reveal Year 2.

The panel will run from 2 PM to 3 PM PDT and could reveal the next slate of DLC fighters. Dataminer Interloko recently discovered in-game files which allegedly indicated the addition of Noob Saibot, Sektor, Cyrax, the T-1000 from Terminator, Ghostface from Scream and Conan the Barbarian. Two new arenas and five new announcers are also reportedly on the way.

While another Kombat Pack is possible, NetherRealm co-founder Ed Boon confirmed in December 2023 that paid DLC is in the works. It will feature more story content, though a “big surprise” is also promised after its launch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review.
