Mortal Kombat 1 - Smoke

NetherRealm Studios’ second gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has dropped and showcases everyone’s favorite assassin faction – the Lin Kuei. It starts with Scorpion and Sub-Zero, with the latter pondering whether they should lead the world instead of representing it. Before long, Smoke joins the two in battle.

New Kameo fighters like Cyrax, Sektor and Frost also debut. Cyrax unleashes a buzzsaw from his chest while Sektor fires homing missiles. Frost deploys ice spikes and kicks them into an enemy’s chest. Rain is also revealed as a playable fighter, who uses a staff to manipulate water, lifting opponents and dropping them through water portals

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders gain access to a beta in August, while Premium and Kollector’s Edition owners gain early access on September 15th. Stay tuned for more details, especially with the first Kombat Kast ongoing.
