Death Stranding’s BTs Recreated In PS4 Exclusive Dreams

One user has created a playable BT with Media Molecule's extensive creation suite.

Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding is currently available for PS4, raking in strong commercial and critical success despite its unorthodox gameplay. To that end, enthusiasm for the game extends to other properties like Media Molecule’s Dreams. Reddit user MCalchemist managed to create the game’s signature BT in-game (and it’s playable).

The creation is all the more endearing because it captures the fade-in, fade-out animation that the BT usually employs (not to mention the telltale cord). When walking, the character even leaves footprints. It may not be in as high-fidelity as Death Stranding but it’s a testament to the power of Dreams that such creations are possible.

Media Molecule’s Dreams is currently exclusive to PS4. It costs $29.99 in early access and offers a range of tutorials and videos to help players create. Dreams is apparently slated to launch out of early access in February 2020 as per a now-deleted retail listing. Sony has yet to confirm the same though so stay tuned for more details.
